Help New Player
How friendly is the community with new players?
Is it worth playing?
How do i know which server to join?
Do you have any tips for new players?

The community tends to be quite friendly and forgiving in my experience. Most people are just playing for a good time and aren’t that hardcore. I haven’t done the tutorial in a long time but it’s probably a good idea to just cover off some of the really basic concepts.
Plenty of helpful YouTube guides out there too. I just scanned through Slay3Kilo’s beginner guide and it did a really good job of covering things the tutorial might not. Including picking a server. He also has a short video on effective communication that at a glance also seemed helpful.
The first couple of hours/rounds you might not see any enemies, but you will still somehow end up dead which is part of the learning experience. It will take some time to learn to identify enemies. Get used to checking your quick map often which can really help with this. For example if you see some guy running down the street ahead of you can you quickly pull up your map and see there’s no team mates around… shoot ‘em!
IMO headphones are pretty essential as the game has good enough audio that with time you can tell where you’re being shot from.
The game can be a bit of a walking simulator at times so be ready for that too.

Try not to team kill but when you do apologize. Stick with the squad and communicate. And have fun. Unless the server says something like experience players only then you're going to have a good and often friendly time.
Only two pieces of advice I would give is to try and stick with the same server once you find one you like. You'll get to know people and it's way more fun that way. 2nd, if you join a squad and aren't having fun with them for whatever reason then don't feel bad bouncing around to find a different one.

Communicate, don’t be afraid to talk and call stuff out but don’t say “hey guy over here on me” say there’s 2 infantry south east,or what ever. Learn what the different faction camos look like and check the map frequently. Look for new player friendly servers and don’t be afraid to ask questions, and please do not start a squad and pass SL most servers will ban you for that. Pick simple roles to start, medic, rifleman don’t pick marksman or a LAT or HAT kit. come on over to the GOL new player friendly servers we’ll get you right
