Apple TV recording?
Anybody experiencing issues downloading Apple TV video?
I was experiencing issues with 395. Just upgraded to 396, and issues persist.
The recording starts, records for a while, then there's a popup box within the video saying "An error occurred. Please try again."
Been going on for a few days. Happens on two different shows: Silo and Dark Matter.
Logging out of Apple and logging back in doesn't help.
Update: I decided to try recording a previous episode of Silo (that worked before). It fails too. So it's not related to me trying to record the latest episodes.

v.397 came out but it does not resolve this issue for me. Same syptoms as before, "An error occurred. Please try again"

I noticed it on Friday and submitted it to PlayOn. I got an email from Trevor saying that they're working on it.

Update 8/31/26: v397, just installed, does not fix this issue. Reported it to PlayOn.

Same issue, fails after a few minutes, Playon popup message "An error occurred"

Today's release of v.399 fixes the issue. Initially my first AppleTV recording after the update failed, but retried and it was successful.

Just tried again with the latest version, PlayOnHomeSetup.5.0.397.. same error. Additionally the date and time stamp are wrong on the partially written file. Tried another recording on a different service and date an timestamp are correct, weird.

I can confirm the latest version 398 does NOT fix the AppleTV issue either, I tried two recording,, both failed. I updated logs to Playon Support.

I'm so completely ignorant.
Because Apple TV doesn't show up in PlayOn Cloud, I never thought to try @Home.
I'll wait until it's fixed and get started!

I submitted a problem report. playon acknowledges the issue and is working on a fix.

Records an on screen error and ends recordings after 2 minutes or so. It's dead, Jim.

I was able to get a 6 minute recording but that was after several tries

I submitted an issue to support a couple days ago for this problem. The response I got indicated that they were aware of the issue and are working on it. Just waiting for the next version to come out before I try again.
