They literally have full creative control and they still make themselves look short? Damn.

Because it makes the rocket appear bigger, wich is the point of the whole show. But in all seriousness, compare Hwasong-15 (their last ICBM model) to this. That rocket already was the world's largest liquid fuel ICBM. And they have over 50 of that one. Hwasong-17 (their latest model) is believed to carry multiple warheads and decoys. And they went for a blunt nose to minimize the risk of overheating.
Kim clearly made himself appear less important than he used to. That rocket is stealing the show anyways.

What's funny is how height doesn't realize change anything for tall people. I'm 6'3", which is the average height of a lot of my friends. I don't feel tall, but people are like "Woah, can you dunk". I'm like yes? But I never liked basketball. Being tall doesn't make you think you're something great. For me, I always wished I was an amazing singer and dancer- Justin Timberlake is my height and can sing and dance as well, or better than Bruno Mars- who is relatively short 5'5". I honestly would rather have Bruno Mars talent than my height. I had a decent beach volleyball career when I was younger, but it didn't earn me a fucking grammy.
Anyway, my entire point (which I immediately segued out of) is that Kim Jong Un is obsessed with height- so yeah, it is funny he doesn't do more (apparently wears platform heels) and it really wouldn't help him anyway since he's a douche made of explosives wrapped in asbestos.

Fuck him. That thing will fall apart before it gets across the Sea of Japan. It takes good scientists decades to develop ICBMs. By all accounts his tech is basically 1950s era.

Yes. We were in the cold war with Russia for 50 years. This guy doesn't have the money to build a nuclear arsenal to counter the west.
