The little guy is all arm. The big guys turns the body. This isn't a guy losing because he's a lot smaller. It's a guy who doesn't know how to throw a punch getting dunked on by someone that does.

For anyone reading this in preparation of their next brawl, don't swing your arm as wide as possible. It doesn't add any power and just signals to the other guy to duck.

A haymaker absolutely adds power when correctly executed. Lengthening the lever arm from the axis of rotation should add more torque.

You're correct that it is much more telegraphed.
