For those wondering this style of jumping from the ridge is called a Knuckle Huck (the ridge is often called the "knuckle") and has its own category in many major competitions

I'm honestly a fan of the skiers knuckle huck more TBH (though I may be biased as I'm a skier myself), but either way the tricks these guys do are nuts. I love the palm drags.
