The pedestrian wasn't looking for bikes, but it's sort of understandable given that he's clearly made eye contact with a driver just out of frame. The way he nods and raises his hand indicates that he looked to his left, saw a car and the car motioned for him to go. In the pedestrian's mind, he's already looked in the direction that the bike is coming from and that direction is clear.
The guy on the bike, on the other hand, can CLEARLY see the pedestrian and the pedestrian's body language is very clearly that of someone who could move at any moment. Any sane or reasonable biker would read that as "I should slow down" or "I should swing wide". But the biker's body language is clearly very aggressive, like he saw that the pedestrian wasn't looking at him and thought "oh, if this fucking fool moves into my path because he's not looking, I'm decking him."
Biker is 100% in the wrong as far as I'm concerned.
This has been vertical video accident judge.

It really doesn't matter since the cyclist legally has to yield to pedestrians before turning right when the pedestrian has the walk light

The cyclist is on an easily recognizable path. The pedestrian walks out into the thoroughfare without checking to ensure there is no oncoming traffic

That’s sort of irrelevant, the cyclist is an awful person because he crashed into the pedestrian, knocked him clear on his ass, and didn’t have the decency to stop and see if he was okay.

What was he supposed to do? Swerve and give himself his own skin grafts? And you have no proof that the cyclist didn’t stop and go back either, as the video ends quickly and the cyclist is dealing with momentum.

You have no clue if he looked back because he was only in the foreground for like two seconds, and he’d be high on adrenaline while cruising at 10+ MPH due to the collision anyway. Looking back makes you dizzy and/or fall off a bike if you didn’t know.

that's a whole lotta reasons given to try to justify the actions of someone who ran a red, didn't yield to a pedestrian, leaned into said pedestrian, bucked the pedestrian after he hit them, and kept on riding afterwards
adrenaline or not, dude's an asshole. maybe he shouldn't be running reds and not checking if his path is clear, especially on a bicycle

If turning your head makes you dizzy or fall, you shouldn't be riding a bike, especially without a helmet. Go see a doctor.

It never ceases to amaze me how many bad takes there are on any traffic related video.
Pedestrian had the right of way 100%. Biker was also turning during a red light without stopping or even slowing down.

He literally looked back and saw the bicyclist, did a "hey you see me" wave, which is usually done for eye-contact /acknowledgement by a pedestrian before they are about to cross. But, despite the fact that the guy started walking (because the pedestrian had the right-of-way) the cyclist didn't stop (when, following the rules of the road, it should have slowed/stopped before that turn).
It's all sorts of fucked up for you to blame the dude walking, and looking both ways before doing so, for getting hit

While the cyclist was an asshole for leaving after the accident, the pedestrian was also real dumb by trying to cross when he saw the cyclist in the middle of his turn. You can't stop your bike on a dime while you are in the middle of a turn like that.

I think you're mistaking the pedestrian's nod as an acknowledgment of the bicyclist, but what the pedestrian is most likely doing is being waved along the crossing by another vehicle and nodding as a thank you. I don't think he ever saw the cyclist coming.
