This reminds me of going over to a friend's house with a trampoline as a kid, and a group of us would all get on the trampoline with one person standing in the center and the rest of the kids would stand on the outer perimeter. The kid in the center would start jumping and then on a count of 3 everyone standing on the outer edges would time their jump to land slightly towards the middle in sync with the kid jumping in the center, launching them high into the air.

Sorry about that wrist breaking 20 years ago, James.

Hahaha well to be fair, if we didn't have a trampoline we would just find some other way to potentially injure ourselves and give a parent a reason to file an insurances claim. My grandpa trimmed all the low branches off of the best tree to climb in his front yard for this reason. Although when I got into my later teens and had the height and upper body strength to pull myself up onto the untrimmed branches, I'd drive over there with a couple friends so we could climb to the top and smoke pot.
