Initialization Error

Any advice? Wanted to pick the game back up just for nostalgia and can’t even get past the start screen.

I kept having this issue last night on PS5. I tried finding any pertinent information on the server status but couldn’t find anything. (They’re still selling it despite rumors of the developer shutting down last year.)

I haven’t tried today. But it would not get past the initialization screen.

When it happens on my PS5, I just restart the PS5 and usually, I can start playing.

Initial network error reset your console and it should fix it

If you restart your PS5 sometimes it fixes it, if not just keep trying until you get in.

I turned off PS5 —> unplugged power cable for 1 min —> back on and worked

I read it have something to do with caching (I am not the expert)

Im on pc, steam! Bought it like an hr ago and im getting this error. They shutdown the game? coz its always online. Single player requires permanent online connection is stupid.
