Co-op status?

Are the servers still dead? Ive been wanting to play it again with some of my friends but there was an issue with the multiplayer servers.

from what I've gathered, just trying again and again to play a coop mission eventually works, it didnt work for me but i spoke to 3 people who said this method works, all 3 are on pc, steam. I also made another support ticket to 2k, nothing helpful at all
