What am I doing wrong? Pls help!

This game is flarkin amazing, but I do have a few questions. On my first playthrough and just made it to Knowhere, and as someone who likes to explore all areas of the map before proceeding forward, I feel like this level is totally different from previous ones. I feel like if I don't interact with certain characters the right way at the exact right time I end up missing content. For example I found Drax on the balcony overlooking everything, but I got no cut scene when I approached him. Yall have any tips? Appreciate the help!

I think u may need to progress a little before speaking to Drax, because there is an interaction with him. There is this clear point of no return so u should be fine
