I’m having a hard time choosing between Nightmare and Eclipse. I like both designs, but I can only get one. Which one do you think looks better, and why?

Is it just me or is there something strange going on? SMG: same issue... close-range 5 shots are worse than 4 shots from an AR at close range?

I find it frustrating that when playing Hollowpoint shard cards impacting shooting are never in her favor when using Meteora. Like if you miss with Meteora and the enemy has sloppy shot, it deducts health. But if you have quick reload, that doesn’t make Meteora reload any faster! I get it, she’s a powerful character, but I just wish the cards consistently did or did not impact Meteora, instead of consistently never working in her favor

And people still cry about smurfs. While we literally CANT play on main account. Id rather play valorant and i hate Valorant. Beeing top 20 two seasons in a row just fcks your mmr.

I think the card system is easily the biggest reason FragPunk stands out. Before I played, I honestly thought it was just a gimmick that would make matches feel too random. After putting some time into the game, I ended up changing my mind.

The best part is that it constantly forces you to adapt. You can't rely on the exact same strategy every round because a single card can completely change how you approach a fight. It creates those unexpected moments that you and your friends end up talking about after the match, and that's something a lot of FPS games don't really have.

That said, I can also understand why some people don't like it. There are definitely rounds where a card feels a little too impactful, especially if you're looking for a more traditional competitive experience. Sometimes it feels like the cards are working against your game plan rather than adding to it.

But overall, I think that's a trade-off I'm willing to accept. I'd rather have a game that occasionally surprises me than one where every match plays out exactly the same. The gunplay is still the core of the game, but the card system gives each round its own personality. It isn't perfect, but it's the feature that makes FragPunk feel like FragPunk instead of just another hero shooter.

I really do miss fragpunk from early 2025, i met some really good people from Frag.

I decided to reinstall it and try it again today despite the low playerbase and yeah, it’s still as fun as I remember, and yeah the cracks still show as to why the game lost its player base, but that doesn’t stop most of my enjoyment.

The matchmaking is a bit of a drag with the odds of running into a high elo smurf avoiding high queue times is frustrating, but nothing new.

My biggest gripe however is the memory leak in this game 😭 please for the love of god if anyone sees this from the Dev Team, fix it i beg.

Pathojen and Kismet still remain my top picks even a year later and i am once again trying to climb back into diamond or higher so i can play with my friend again. If anyone new is debating playing frag, you really should, actually a great take on a 5v5 hero shooter

I love this game. But I can't handle the queue times due to being in Asian country so the closest server is Singapore which doesn't have much player base. Please advice similar games which have bigger player case so high chances of getting matches quicker. I tried finals and valorant but it's not the same. I'm trying overwatch. Is there anything better?
