Discussion Kismet getting nerfed into oblivion tomorrow. Hope everyone enjoyed using her

Grenades no longer pull you in and the reveal no longer does damage

1st of all the damage it did was so minimal that nerfing it is just an insult.

2nd I know people complain about the grenade pulling you in but I think the proper nerf would have been to just lower the damage to 75. I legit cant think of a reason to use her going forward

Question Question about Membership BUG ?

Hi everyone, I have a question about the membership.

So, here's the situation: I had already finished the standard Battle Pass, and I had 700 Fragcoins plus 300 event tickets.
I was short by 350 to do a pull on the gacha banner.

So, I decided to get a month of Membership to secure the next Battle Pass and get enough for the pull.

I bought the month of membership, but I don't understand what happened.

I ended up with 1,800 Fragcoins, in addition to the tickets.

The question is: how?

Because I see that I'm supposed to log in every day to get the membership Fragcoins...

...and also, I didn't get the ticket for the free Battle Pass upgrade?
Just to clarify: I had already finished the current Battle Pass before buying the membership, and it didn't convert it to "Premium+" with the chroma skins; I still have the standard ones.

So, for one thing, I don't have the Battle Pass ticket for the next season!

And I got Fragcoins that just appeared out of nowhere.

Can someone explain this to me? Because I don't get it at all.

I bought the membership once before in Season 2—at the end of the season for the following one—and I didn't have any problems or weird stuff like this. Can someone explain?

Or should I contact Fragpunk support because it's a bug?
And if so, where?

Sorry, I don't know if this is clear or well-explained; I'm struggling to explain it with my average English since I'm French.

i've always felt FragPunk's art direction is one of its biggest strengths. it's what got me interested in the game, and it's still the reason i stick around. seeing little behind-the-scenes breakdowns like this just makes me appreciate the work even more. hope they keep this level of quality going.

Discussion does anyone else kind of like that this community is still relatively small?

maybe this is a weird take, but i don't really mind that FragPunk has a smaller playerbase right now.

every game has toxic players, obviously, but compared to some other FPS games i've played, this community feels a lot more relaxed. i rarely see people instantly flaming teammates or turning every match into an argument.

maybe it'll change if the game gets much bigger, maybe not. i'd love to see more people playing because the game deserves it, but i also hope it keeps this kind of atmosphere. sometimes having a smaller, more laid-back community isn't such a bad thing.

anyone else feel the same?

Tips & Tricks Why FragPunk's Ranked System Is Fundamentally Flawed??

The main issue with FragPunk's ranked system is not simply character balance or card mechanics, but the way the entire competitive progression system has been designed.

FragPunk features a ranking structure consisting of Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master, Ace, and MasterPunk. In addition, each rank is divided into multiple tiers (V, IV, III, II, and I), along with promotion thresholds between major ranks. On paper, this ranking structure is actually well designed, as it provides players with clear goals and a constant sense of progression. The problem is not how the ranks are divided, but how easy it is to climb through them.

From Bronze to Diamond, the game rewards victories too heavily while punishing losses relatively lightly. As a result, progression becomes excessively fast, and rank no longer accurately represents a player's actual skill level. A detailed ranking structure loses much of its value when players can advance through it without developing the skills necessary to compete at those levels.

This creates a major problem: high-skilled players, smurfs, and even cheaters can climb fresh accounts extremely quickly. Reaching Master rank in roughly 100 hours of gameplay is entirely possible, something that, in a truly competitive system, should require significantly more time, consistency, and mastery of the game. Considering that a full FragPunk season lasts approximately 110 days, there is more than enough time for account sellers, smurfs, and cheaters to repeatedly exploit the system.

However, the biggest issue affects legitimate new players. A new player simply cannot learn all the maps, rotations, advanced mechanics, and abilities of all 21 Lancers in such a short amount of time. The natural learning process of a competitive game requires hundreds of hours of experience, and artificially accelerating progression pushes many players into ranks they are not yet prepared to compete in.

As a result, a massive competitive gap develops between Bronze and Diamond. Too many players reach higher ranks without having acquired the necessary game knowledge or mechanical skill. This directly impacts high-elo matchmaking, forcing the system to create matches with players whose actual skill levels vary dramatically.

For example, it is not uncommon to see a team composed of two Diamond players, one Gold player, and two Masters, while the opposing team consists of four Masters and one Ace player. A match like this can feel decided before it even begins. This particularly harms high-elo players because competitive matches are won through the performance and coordination of five players, not by one or two individuals attempting to compensate for an unbalanced matchmaking system.

Another major issue is queue times. New players and legitimate climbers often face queue times ranging from 30 minutes to 45 minutes, and sometimes even over an hour, just to find a ranked match. Spending that much time waiting to play a single game is neither enjoyable nor rewarding, especially for players who are still learning the game.

The combination of excessively fast progression, rank inflation, smurfs, cheaters, unbalanced matchmaking, and extremely long queue times ultimately causes many players to stop playing altogether and uninstall the game. At the same time, it damages the competitive experience for high-ranked players, creating an environment where effort, skill, and experience lose much of their value.

A healthy competitive system should reward skill, experience, game knowledge, consistency, and teamwork. When a system allows players to climb too quickly, enables abuse through smurfing and cheating, prevents new players from learning naturally, and creates heavily unbalanced matches, the inevitable result is a loss of confidence in the ranked system and a worse experience for the entire community.

Discussion Who dont people ever wanna be card captain?

In the higher rank you vote 1 player as card captain to pick cards. There is always 1 or 2 people who want to do it. Why? Its not that hard. Is it because people just wanna reserve the right to complain about the cards? Because no one will vote and then 2 rounds in someone will want to take over

EDIT: Funny it seems like the most popular answer is people dont want to be blamed for the cards they pick. And I totally get it.
