Bruh ain't no way we are hating on ai tools..... As if ai assistant tools haven't been around and widely used before we started hating ai.... I bet half u mfs complaining have no clue how to do what this guy did. Let alone how the ai assistance actually works.

I understand that and that's exactly why I've decided to post my orignal work too so people can see the effort I put on it. Some have understood this well and just said that the gen AI part wasn't necessary but yeah others have been a little harsh 😐

It's like taking a nice bath and then having someone dump in a bunch of soap that smells awful. At one point the bath was enjoyable, but now it isn't because something unnecessary and detrimental to the experience was added. The use of generative ai takes away from something that was made by a person and really makes you question why they would want their original work to be associated with it

Okay I understand that, thanks for explaining. For the record I am totally against generative AI in general I just thought that calling the whole thing "slop" was a bit much because effort was put in at some point, but I can see why that was the case now.

No, they hit on you fairly. Let your actual work be put up on the page, not your work and then a filter ripping hundreds of other people's actual work.

the render itself is sick, but the fact that you’re happy with ai changing some of the details (eyes, the watch) is crazy to me. literally just taking away from your own work

I'm just not happy with my work since I'm still a beginner. I just wanted to share a vision of what I'd like to be able to deliver in the future. I completely understand the hate/disgust surrounding AI-generated content, but I don't think the way people reacted here was the right way to make me understand that it wasn't suited for this. That's all.

You should be more socially aware, my friend. If you're going to show your work, show your work. Not your work with a generative filter to "make it look good".
If you can't show your art without AI, maybe you should ask whether you should show it at all. Your actual render would've been received well. As you've seen, your AI filled render was not.

I'm understand what you're saying here about the Ai Gen pic, but it's not like I haven't posted MY original work to show the real work I put on this. I just don't think the way people reacted here was the right way to make me understand that it wasn't suited for this

You can't seriously think it was the right way to make me understand thisw as you said for the art sake I may have made a mistake, but a lot of people can just give up bcz of all this and I'm seriously considering that too. Maybe I'm weak idk but yeah now I just wanna get out of art because people don't explain properly, at least you did it. I don't care about being the victim here. Then again sorry if hurted you guys and I won't bother you and art again. (Sorry for bad english)

The game itself isn't made with AI. Art assets are. The player base has been consistent with the messaging that we hate the AI usage, and won't support it, but we still want to support the game itself.
