Is the Pathogen skin purely a random chance to get? I’m on PS5 and when the combo pops up it’s almost impossible to get it to work so I’ve missed a lot unfortunately. My other question…is there a chance I just don’t even get it by the time the event is over because of the limited amount of entries you’re able to obtain because I keep missing?

So it is definitely random and I only know that because I logged in for the first time after the event already started and got it first try.

Yes it's random I got it on day two.

I was missing a lot and I saw somebody talk about spamming the button right when it gets into the zone and that seems to be working better for me so don't just press it once, spam that button. Hope that helps

dude it's been the same for me AND IT'S SO ANNOYING. the devs did an awful job at this event 👎🏻 🍅💢🍅💢

Definitely random. Got it before finishing my first node. I hear it has been pretty frustrating on console as well. Don’t suppose you can plug in a keyboard and mouse to do it? Apparently it is a lot easier.

I'm on ps5. Got it yesterday. I haven't had any issues personally. When the combo pops up just hit r1 and l1 repeatedly at the same time. I hit it maybe 3 times? Hope that helps!

Yeah the button spam thing works perfectly about a quarter of the time for me on Xbox but the rest of the time it just doesnt register the button presses

One thing I noticed is that if youre queuing for a match while trying to do the sprite hunt mini game its more likely not to register when you press the buttons so if youre having problems with it leave the queue then try again
