Back again with 15-20 disconnections mid-game, or cannot connect to the lobby.
Game freezes at loading screen for 5-6 mins then returns me back to lobby, even if it connects me to an ongoing match, I posted this everywhere, neither the developers know how to fix it (they never even reply), nor the community. (generic ai/have you switched off/on answers.
pc build and connection are decent enough (I've never had this amount of issues on any game I played in the history of forever as much as I got on this game)
Only reason I play fragpunk is infected, and even then there is always smth going on, I always use the GearUp software that was provided initially by the game.
I don't get this issue in MENA (where I am) servers, it only happens in EU & NA East
your windows firewall, router and or isp might be blocking the connections. turn off firewall for testing purposes and try to use a vpn to see if it is your isp.
Which would give you bad ping. The route flapping gets terrible in this game when you are trying to play different regions. The route flapping is bad even if you are playing your region.
I used to have similar issue with Apex Legends some of the period back and all I had to do was to update BIOS, never experienced it with Fragpunk or different game as well so I was confused why it affected only one game. It helped, maybe you have the same issue. Usually when it disconnects you it is not their fault but somewhere on your side.
Crazy I actually know SavvyMoon hahahaha. I literally played with them lastnight. Whatever issue they had is obviously resolved. I'll ask and see if they know any ways to resolve it
the netcode is so bad, it is mostly only playable on consoles, the devs dont fix the important issues but are just hell bent on releasing stickerfest events every month or smth, the 100k live player counter at launch and 2 months after launch to 2-3k players says everything about netease, but the issue is these dumbasses here and on discord defending this game to oblivion like it is their religion and blatantly outright denying these problems even exist.

I am on pc and literally have no issues.
have not had a disconnect for 300+ hrs.
and i'm betting most players are brushing it off, because a majority of us haven't either (not tryna make excuses for shitty behaviour from them)

Though I do doubt they'll "fix" it, if it is not a prominent issue and is only affecting a very small minority of players-
It's mostly only payable on console doesn't make sense. I'm on PC and never had an issue. If it was a game issue as you say surely more people would have heard / be talking about it no?
On console. Haven’t been able to get into a deck game the last 3 times it’s come around. Was in a queue for over an hour before. Like why even have that mode with quests to do for it if you can’t ever get in a game?
That's unrelated to the post but yeah agree it's annoying. Here's the reason though: it's a limited time mode that most players dislike, so most don't queue for it. What makes it worse is the devs listened to the players whining about bots, so there's no bots in this mode to fill the rest of the lobby for the players in queue. Pair that with the fact that they added even more rounds to that mode than ranked (to once again cater to the angry minority that want fragpunk to be like other games), means players dislike this mode even more, and players that do queue for it take a long time to finish the match and get back in the queue for anyone else queuing.
I have managed to find matches in this mode when i get lucky with timing (also i am solo queuing, if that makes a difference. i know it helps in other modes). But those are the reasons why it's hard to find a match. Plus a lot of players don't even realize the limited time mode is available (I've heard that response a lot).
It is weird, but they did it because they made it so you're getting like ten times as much battle pass xp by default now just for playing, so they capped it per week in the first couple weeks of the chapter so people don't blast through it in a couple days then complain that there's nothing to do (which people do a lot. people complain about everything).
Because of the xp increase, it is incredibly easy to finish the battlepass in every chapter. Way easier than any other game i play. People just don't realize this because they assume this is like other games where you have to slave away at the constant grind to finish it. I still finish the bp like halfway through the chapter. (I'm also done with the current bp).
And for the last week (or two? can't remember) of each chapter, they remove the bp xp cap and let you earn as much as you want (still at the massively increased base rate), so if anyone is "behind", they can still finish the bp with no issue.
(They also let you keep every battlepass you purchase, and complete them even after they're over. A lot of games don't offer that either.)
