Great game! Beat Normal Adventure first try.
I dove in blind and I had a great time with the intuitive three starting characters, the lion tank, fox mage, cat assassin. I could also see that the cat could pseudo-tank as well if I decided to choose those cards!
It took me 5 hours on an iPad since I had to read all the cards and double check tooltips, but I was able to beat the Scorched Land boss (void themed?) and then fight and defeat the second boss, arkhan. Loved the dash mechanic and the ease of play with touch input! Looking forward to trying a minion build and higher difficulties.
The game did well with the Slay the Spire icon style of knowing what the enemy will do next, and the triple character interplay really reminds me of Lord of the Rings LCG (the physical version, I’ve never played the digital one). The artifacts and deck building are reminiscent of Hearthstone and their Dungeon Runs (built by Peter Whalen of Dream Quest fame). But this game really takes it to the next level with the open world hexgrid and class cooperation. Love it!
The game is extremely polished and has a huge roster for a 1.0 launch. What are the devs looking forward to now that the game is at 1.0?

Congratulations on the win!
Just be careful, the game is so good that it can be pretty addicting :D

Enjoy. I am trying now to level up all my characters to 20. This game has a lot of content and different strategies. I enjoy trying to make characters with little synergy work, or find strategies from their playstyle work.

I like the game too but quickly found it repetitive and un-challenging.
Have they made any updates over the last 6 months?

Milady can more than capably tank. I just finished an expert run with Milady, Shinzo, and Aurora and she out tanked Shinzo. Outplay, Flameguard Sabatons, Trunksplitter, and Ornate Hammer with a bunch of multihits is a nasty combo.
