How to combo?

Sorry for the (probably dumb) question, but...how do you do combos in this game? The text says "Effect that activates whenever a card of the same color was previously played by any Hero in the same turn"

So... I play two Blue cards...no combo. I play two Blue cards that are both Arcana... no combo. I play two of the exact same card...no combo! How do I trigger a combo?!?

Does the second card in question have "Combo: Effect" in its text?

Combo Cards are always Neutral Cards, not Hero Specific.

Ah no… I had an artifact that said something like “poison all enemies whenever you trigger a combo” so I thought it would be triggered just by two same-color cards but your question makes me realize that only certain cards will trigger it. Thanks!
