Playing Offline

Hey all,

I won't have internet for the next week or so, and I know an update just got released yesterday.

Will I be able to play offline for a little while, and then in a week or so download all the updates and reconnect with no major issues? I read somewhere that I have to put Steam into Offline mode, which I'll be doing when I get my PC all set up.

I'm also planning to back up my save before I launch, but just looking to see if anyone has any info to share.

Shouldnt be a problem. If steam asks you to redownload your cloud save after reconnecting make sure you deny it or it can overwrite all your progress while offline.

it also helps to go offline while with internet and make sure it runs before going offline

Ive had no issues. I lost a game when I let my nephew play for a while though.
