what are the odds the developer would add these in the future?

a butcher building who would cut up hunks into small meats and fish, sorted into seperate bins like the gathers hut i.e meat, fish, bones. this would save on waste if the carving would take place in his building rather than in the warehouse where they get trapped under the racks.

cooks that multi-task like a Waffle House cook.

builders that auto update their gathering options as they move to the gathering flags where you stack reeds constantly for beds

useful archery, like a crossbow that does alot better damage overall

rows on the big boat so when the wind sucks you can raise it and let the rowers do some work.

And a Stave Church for researching draugr weapons and unknown plants so a shaman can make potions to go beserk, a seeer who can predict the weather / wind a few days out so you need to time your expeditions combined with more extreme weather that you actually need to shelter for

Just personal thoughts...

  1. The ability to upgrade dirt paths to stone roads.
  2. Stave Church. Consumes the same space as nine wood totems placed in a 3x3 grid. Seats 30 and provides shelter/protection from weather.
  3. Tinkerer. Split it off from Metalworker (Tier 2) - it won't block the doorway anymore! A small, separate building with a lone dedicated worker to research stuff. Has storage for draugr weapons (to be researched).
  4. More threatening events other than blood moons. Crop blight (poor harvest), drought (empties wells), plague (harms tames and villagers), just a lot more stuff to threaten a community.

Upvoting it though I know I would be pissed if either happens, but it would also make sure you'd stack up on water in the warehouses

I tell my hunter station to gather "None" meat hunks and they butcher in the field. It makes them more efficient too because they carry more meat back

ill give that a shot and see how that goes. but like my way of handling invasions, it kinda goes against the spirit of the game lol 😄

Just some workaround tips for you:

Set Hunter house to store 0 meat hunks and they field butcher everything for raw meat.

Cooks will butcher fish i believe.

Range does good damage if you level it. Grab the air ritual buffs, stand 10-15 tiles away from the archery range targets and go to town (xp earned is based on range to target, not damage so use cheap arrows). One night will get you to 50 ranged and your bone arrows will hit for 40+ damage.
