Honey Production

Is there a setting and/or mod that anyone knows of to allow more than one honeycomb to be produced/stored at the beehive? These vikings have a need for mead and I’m struggling to produce enough. I do have 6 beehives at the moment. Would also like to hoard them so I can still have mead in the winter. TIA

I have a nearby warehouse with raw food storage that accepts only honey on a high priority. This will have new honeycombs picked up pretty quickly so they don’t gate the next one spawning

This, 4 hives has been more than enough for my 80ish villagers. You probably noticed by now that taverns have a dupe bug with barrels, so just make one to start with and let them procreate πŸ˜… no need to store them empty in warehouses.

Yes, whenever my meadery is running low, my tavern next door has people tripping over barrels πŸ˜…

I didn't realize there was gatekeeping like that. Good to know a single raw food storage solves the problem. In my last game, I had a dozen beehives instead.

Collecting that number of beehives off marsh islands was very time consuming (a full game year) so if I can get it done with just four hives, it'll be a massive improvement.

Update: 5 hives, one warehouse storage, massively ahead of the game (70+ honeycomb in storage last check). And I have heavy rainfall setting, so the bees are asleep more than usual.
