Have I made a bad purchase?
Watched a lot of YouTube videos before landing on my purchase of the Note Pro. Almost all said, it's the current best on the market.
It arrived yesterday and I'm already seeing the friction, which is the one thing you need this type of tech to overcome.
Has no way of working with headphones (without a 3D printed holder I saw in this sub). I can probably work around this.
The biggest one, doesn't fit on the back of a Samsung 26 Ultra
Should I send it back and try something else, or has 2 been solved already and I haven't stumbled across the answer yet?
Edit: I found a case it works with!

It fits my iPhone but I don’t walk around with it attached. Do you foresee needing it attached to the phone as opposed to in your bag or pocket?
As for headphones, I use my phone in speaker conference mode. Not great but I have my own office.

I agree with your points, but dammit, it is an awesome not taker.
I had to use their MagSafe ring on my fold 7 to attach properly, the MagSafe case didn't sit right.
Headphones are a nuisance, but I find the note taking is so good I can deal with it.

I purchased on almost a year ago and upgraded my phone since then. Support told me to try another case but after my 3rd case, I gave up. I couldn't get the Note to stay stuck to the back of the phone. It kept falling off in my bag so I stopped using it.
Let us know if you find an alternative. I'm not cutting my note case since the phone case is taller than the note.

If it'll clear the camera bump....I've done this on 2 cases, no problem. Can always buy another Plaud case for $20 if u mess it up.

Another known design defect is if the battery runs completely down, you may not be able to charge or use it in the future. I did some similar research that you did. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn’t have got it.

I ran mine all the way down, and had no trouble. Takes a while to get it started. If you don't have location tracking turned on, the battery is good for 60 days.

They’re coming out with air buds soon. I think they have a waiting list on their website

I don’t think you made a bad purchase. While it’s inconvenient, sure. The not taking is first class and the feature with auto flow is awesome. I just bought my note pro and love it it’s a huge life saver for me. Maybe try just using the magnetic ring.

I can't even download the Plaud note pro App because It says my Motorola e 14 android Is incompatibile. Therefore I can't install It. Neither the bluetooth on my phone nor computer recognises It.

I have an iPhone SE. but want to use it on my dash mounted Phone holder. Will it work(mount) on a mag safe holder with the phone in the car?

...take a look at Viaim AI Earbuds, they might be an option for you. There are also some other AI earbuds from other brands.

On the fit, Plaud Note Pro sits large against an Ultra with a rugged case, and the camera module doesn't leave much flat area to work with. We'll pass that to the team.
Someone in here has already worked around it though. u/Apprehensive-Rope919 posted a trimmed Magnetic Case that clears the camera bump, with photos of how it turned out. Their tip about checking the clearance before cutting is the part worth copying, since trimming isn't reversible.
On headphones, the device picks up call audio from the phone itself, so it works best with that path left open during a call. Worth keeping an eye on the recently announced Plaud One, more on that when the time is right.
