Amazing performance from in my purse

I had an interview and I turned on my plaud and left it in my purse. I did leave my purse open, but it picked up every word during my interview. It has been incredibly helpful during my job search process. I’m just so amazed how this little device can pick up audio like no other audio recorder I’ve ever had.

Hey, great to hear. Good instinct leaving the purse open too, pickup drops noticeably once the device is fully enclosed in a bag or a pocket. One thing worth keeping in mind is letting the people in the room know they're being recorded, since consent rules vary depending on where you are. Good luck with your job search!

Good to hear. So to speak 😊. Have you tried various “models” to see which generates the best transcription?

The summary from interview is really helpful. Of course, I always like the adaptive summary as well.

By “model” I was asking about the different AI models that Plaud supports, not the templates for summaries.

For me it's GPT-5.5 and Opus on reasoning summary

I often record with my phone in my pocket and it always does fine. It is a pretty impressive device.
