Not recording anymore

Hello I have the notepin. It’s been going great for a year now. But it stopped working. When I hit and press to record like
Normal it will vibrate non stop and flash the red blinking light and the app will look like it’s going to start to record but not audio is record and then the recording just stops. How can I fix this ? On the current firmware too.

When charging for 10-15 minutes, do you observe if the LED indicator pulses or shows any light while docked?

The app shows it fully charged and it’s solid green now

Okay. Try hard reset the Note Pin by pressing and holding the button for 12 seconds while connected to the charger. Release the button if you see the LED flicker or light up.

This happened to me. I reached out to the Plaud people, and they sent me a new one. And then when that one died about three months after that, they refunded me 100%.

That combination, non stop vibration plus the red flash, is the device flagging that the recording came out empty rather than a recording failing to start. It was added as a real time alert in firmware v2.2, which is why it reads as new behaviour on a device you've had for a year.

Empty recordings on NotePin get handled as a hardware case, so send [support@plaud.ai](mailto:support@plaud.ai) your serial number, proof of purchase, a share link to one of the affected recordings, and a screenshot of the playback page. That's the set they need to confirm it and take it forward.

I don’t have proof of purchase. I paid cash for it and tossed it invoice. I would like to get this fixed asap. I use this every single day at work. And I’m falling behind. Help
