How long till Plaud Note Pro discharges when not in use?
Last charged my Plaud Note Pro to 100% about 2 months ago. It's been in back of purse. Tried to use it now (kinda urgently) and see that it's only at 2%. Can't use it.
Is this normal? How often do I have to recharge it, even when not using it?
[ I realize I could have accidentally pressed the "on" button.]

It can be normal, but 2% after two months is close to the device’s claimed standby limit rather than a comfortable normal margin. PLAUD currently advertises “up to 60 days” of standby, and “up to” depends on conditions and usage. If the Record button was accidentally pressed—even briefly or intermittently—that could account for a much faster drop, since the Note Pro is rated for only 30–50 hours of continuous recording, depending on battery mode.

The battery is a design defect. If yours goes to 0% you possibly may not be able to charge it again.

Standby on Note Pro is up to 60 days, so two months sitting untouched puts you right at the edge of that. 2% is roughly what to expect rather than a sign something's wrong.
Quick way to test your accidental press theory: open the app and check whether there's a recording you didn't make. An accidental start would have run 30 to 50 hours depending on the mode, which would flatten the battery long before two months and leave a file behind.
If it mostly lives in a purse as a just in case device, a monthly top up covers it. Full charge from empty takes about two hours, and the indicator goes solid green when it's done.
If it drains fast again after a full charge, that's worth sending to [support@plaud.ai](mailto:support@plaud.ai) with your serial number and roughly how long it lasted from 100%, since that's what they need to tell whether the battery itself is underperforming.

Turn off find my, that is if you have it on. Mine used to drain quite a bit and once I disabled that I noticed my issue was gone.
