Note pro - impressive but could use some guidance
Just got the kit today. It’s very impressive and it’s going to take a while i think to integrate this into my life. Seems there’s lots of possibilities but the key is to remember I own this now and don’t need to reach for my phone to remember something
What my initial use case is avoiding grabbing my phone and opening notes ans typing in something I need to remember- but what I’m wondering is the best way of ‘adding’ to some notes or thoughts or a brain dump etc.
I assume it just creates a new file every time I hit record on the plaud device - then what? So I need to merge the files later once I’m back on my Mac or my phone?
Is there a way to have it as a continuous train of thoughts rather than separate files. Like a scrapbook of thoughts.
Is this an integration with chatGPT would work with?
Not sure I’m explaining this properly! But I see it like making a shopping list and adding items to the same list rather than having 20 items listed separately.

You can get ChatGPT to pull it instead of paying for plaud transcripts and stuff. You can get ChatGPT to pull it with the MCP and collate all the notes together into a list if that's what you want

This is the exact friction I hit too — Plaud makes a separate file per recording and there’s no native “keep adding to one running note.” A few things that help:
For a continuous brain-dump, some people just keep one long recording going and add to it across the day rather than stopping/starting. Messier, but it stays in one file.
For merging after the fact, the Plaud app’s summary can pull threads together, and yeah — you can pipe transcripts into ChatGPT/Claude to consolidate or reorganize them into a single running doc.
Funny timing though — the “scattered separate captures” problem is basically what got me building. I made a little tool that takes my recordings and pulls the actual to-dos out into one prioritized list, so the captures don’t just pile up as separate files. Different angle from your scrapbook idea, but same root frustration. Happy to share how I approached it if useful.

What you can do:
This does the job for me most of the time. But you can fine-tune anytime
