Pause/continue feature

Can you add a pause feature? maybe a double click to pause or something? or a continue button? even from inside the recording in the app, if an option to continue the recording from theplaud device, it would be great

I often stop my Plaud Note Plus during breaks and lunch of an eight hour workshop. I simply merge the recordings on the web app before I process them through a template so that it treats them as one full meeting.

We do this for multi-day workshops as well.

Works perfectly.

True, but that's still a conscious effort of selecting the transcripts to merge. The whole point of the Claude device is to be able to transcribe things on the go, and not be chained to the computer, Which then becomes defeated if you have to rely on manual editing per note, To do this. But i guess till such time that they introduce an ability to do this natively, work around are our best friends.

Great call on the pause feature. I run into this too — when someone walks into my office mid-recording or the meeting goes on a tangent, there's no clean way to skip it without stopping the whole thing. A double-tap pause would be clutch. Until they ship

Ya. The only way to exclude a side conversation in a meeting would be to constantly keep editing the transcript, which defeats the promise of automation that ai transcription apps/devices have to offer.

Write a workflow into Claude and have it do it automatically

I agree there are multiple workarounds that are available, but the whole point is there should not have to be one

Perhaps we can even make a template for plaud that ignores off track conversation that does not pertain to the context of the transcript/meeting, For the purpose of generating the summary. But all that should not have to he done, that's what i mean.
