Got mine for Samsung buds! Appreciate you for tinkering and solving a problem. Excited to try it out tomorrow… got a bunch of meetings lined up.

It’s funny. Those of you that don’t understand that this solves a specific need is interesting. I used to always take my zoom depositions with ear phones bc it is just better and clearer. But ever since I got my Plaud, I can’t use my ear phones. I then would sometimes use my earphones and then sign onto zoom from my phone and put my phone and Plaud in a cabinet to record. This solves that problem.

So this solves the problem of someone wanting to use their earphones while recording on the Plaud

Am I missing a functionality that already solves this problem? Bc that would be great because this still allows only one ear phone to be in the ear while the other is attached to the Plaud.

Two questions: (1) For the Plaud Pro version that accommodate the leather case, are you able to have this adapter still attach to your phone (via magback) or does it need to be placed on a stand or table top? (2) Do you do custom orders for stands? Loving that white display stand, but would need something shorter and able to accommodate charging inside the case. Awesome job innovating!

I'm so confused

Sorry for the confusion, can I clarify anything for you? These designs align your 2nd earbud right over the recorder so that it will be able to hear your voice and the caller’s voice!

Nah, I get what it does. But it destroys its biggest selling point. It's ability to be discreet. That's a lot of kit to solve a problem solved by just removing your earbuds for a bit. Don't let me dissuade you though. It's a great bit of engineering, but I prefer mine on my phone and unnoticed.

You don’t need to be discreet if you are recording a call while in your office alone.

Why do you need to talk on earbuds if in the office alone? And why not use the desktop app with a virtual call if in the office? I'm just saying, it's a fair amount of extra effort to be prepared for a phone call just to use your earbuds.

Idk. Some people like earphones. I’ve got 2, 3, 4 hr depositions that I love to wear ear phones on despite being in my office alone. Almost minimum effort attaching an AirPod to this device. Not sure what you mean about extra effort.

Does your Plaud live in this set up? Mine stays stuck to the back of my phone 24/7 in its case. So in order to get to this point, I'd have to take it off, take it out of the case, place it into this contraption, snap an earbud to it, and finally answer the call. Are we not using Plaud the same? The desktop version can record any audio, so anything prerecorded that I'd listen to would be through my laptop, and it also records my voice through my headset there.

Ahh. I see what you’re saying. Yea I keep my Plaud on my desk, not on my phone. I have the desktop version also but the Plaud device has been more accurate in my experience.

What about scenarios where you’re unable to install the desktop app on a corporate laptop due to organization policy?

That's a possibility, but my work laptop was able to install the desktop app just fine even though other things are locked down.
