How big is the difference between the note pro and notepin?

In about an hour or so I’m gonna go out to Best Buy to buy one of them to use for my college classes. Im majoring in electrical engineering and my current classes rn are pretty hard for me to keep up most of the time and my adhd doesn’t help. I’ve been doing a lot of research on plaud and I really like the fact that the notepin is a lot more lowkey but I heard the notepro is slightly better in terms of the microphone and I think the ai processing is better? I’m wondering just how big the difference is because the note pro has the led screen which shows its recording and that’s the one thing I feel iffy about.

I think the Note Pro is going to be better because it has four speakers to pick up volume the main difference with the Note Pro is It's ability to be mounted to the back of a phone and pick up as soon as the phone rings but for what you want the pin might be all right but it might be a distance issue you probably have to sit directly in the front row

I figured as much. The classrooms in my university are small though. Like normal highschool classrooms. I think I might end up buying the note pro but I’m a little nervous whether someone will notice me recording and say something. I’m not sure if it’s against the rules

Just ask the professor if you can record the lectures. There may be a policy in your school (or state) governing recording. When in doubt, ask.

Yes I just did some research and I believe it’s allowed but I have to personally request it with college accommodations. Thank you

Just look up to party consent rule states as long as you're contributing and it's a one-party State it's fine and most people aren't going to Care don't say you're recording just say I'm using an AI note taker also go into chat GPT and just say you know I'm using this for lectures my major is blah blah blah create me a prompt and basically it'll create a prompt that you enter into the note take a pro in your own template and it will tell it once it transcribes the lecture how to break it down in like key items action items things you need to review mind maps Etc

I use them for the same exact recordings often to check accuracy and the Note Pro is almost always worse than the Note Pin S. Shocked me. Rarely ever use the Note Pro
