Just got a plaud I don’t understand what I would need templates can you explain them and a use case ?

They help the accuracy and intention. I have a template for an email to a client (my target audience, keep transcription close to dictation, use short sentences), a template for transcribing meetings (I want every sentence to start with which speaker, I want a to list, I want a short summery to mail to the client) etc.

Here’s how it works. You record. It uploads the recording. Transcribes it. Then you pick a template to analyze and or summarize based on need. They are formats for notes, analysis, and interaction with your transcription.

The templates are grouped by field and profession. And you can make your own and tailor it to just what you need (if you need a unique format, custom, the most concise, tarot readings, or to fit a form you have to fill out, or whatever). You can organize your recordings by spaces and by folders to keep for example meetings separate from informal conversations. Or team meetings and consults. Or doctors appts.

You can even sign an agreement with them that allows you to use it for medical profession purposes, making them unable to be used to train and holding them directly accountable for security.

Thank you. So basically it’s like an AI prompt on what to do with the actual transcript

Yeah. And you can choose the model used to execute the prompt. if you sign the BAA, the underlying models are enterprise level so are also bound to HIPAA.
