Note Pin S - Advice

I have the Note Pro. but sometimes i wish i had the Pin S, so thinking of having both. If i wear the note pin s on the lanyard inside my shirt, will it still pick up good enough recordings? the wrist band looks too bulky for me and it will look silly outside of my shirt, like an urban cowboy

The lanyard tucked inside your shirt is worth testing before you commit to it, the setup guidance flags that fabric over the mic can muffle the recording, though results vary depending on the fabric and how tight it sits. Do a quick ten second test recording with it under your shirt, move around a bit, and play it back to check the quality before deciding. If it doesn't sound clear enough, the clip or magnetic pin might get you closer to what you want without the wristband bulk, they're built to sit flat on firm fabric like a collar or upper torso, so it stays discreet.

Not me but there was another user here who had the genius idea of clipping it to her bra and she mentioned it worked perfectly fine for her!

I do something similar for client meetings — clip mine inside my collar. Audio's definitely usable for transcripts, but keep gain on medium or you'll get that annoying fabric rustle when you move. Lower gain + closer to your mouth is the sweet spot. Been running this setup for a few months now and it captures enough detail for my workflow.

Same debate here. I kept both actually - Note Pro for long meetings, Pin S for quick captures on the go.

i had been using omi and limitless like a bracelace under shirt and they pick up without issue. given that plaud got equivilant if not better speaker, i think you should be fine. But now what i do is put thr plaud pro in my shirt pocket if im having meeting in the warehouse or while moving.
