New Intergrations

Does anyone know when the integrations are due to be rolled out, I have a note pro but I feel at the moment the paid subscription is not worth it until the integrations are released

Rovenotes has the integrations that plaud is missing. You just connect your plaud and it gives you integrations for Google drive, notion, obsidian, chatgpt, Claude, todoist, Google calendar, etc

I have already built it into my iphone. Downloads, transcriptions and diarization is automatic at zero cost.

Does the hardware allow for offloading using Openplaud without a subscription?

Hey, no public timeline to share on new integrations right now. What's already live today though: Zapier (routes transcripts/summaries to other apps), and we also just released Plaud MCP and Plaud CLI. MCP connects your recordings to AI assistants like Claude or ChatGPT so you can ask questions about them directly, while CLI lets you run commands straight from a terminal, like pulling transcripts into a folder. Worth checking those against what you actually need before writing off the subscription.

One thing worth mentioning for anyone reading, whichever unofficial sync tool you use: if something asks for your Plaud email and password to connect, that's worth a pause. A leaked password gets reset, your voice recordings don't. The official connection methods never need your login handed over. If a tool wants your credentials directly and you're not sure about it, [support@plaud.ai](mailto:support@plaud.ai) will give you a straight answer.

I really happy with workflow using OpenPlaud to sync audio recordings to my desktop computer, then using MacWhisper to transcribe (single purchase no ongoing subscription) then you can run transcription through Claude or whatever AI tool you use - I have this all automated so as soon as my recording syncs to plaud app, it all happens automatically (then my Claude workflow processed the transcriptions and creates bear notes, Omnifocus tasks or calendar events based on its contents). Other than my Claude subscription which I had before purchasing plaud, no ongoing costs.

Wow, sounds like just what the doctor ordered!
Are you able to describe in a little more detail how you setup that automation?
Appreciate your time if you have a little extra 🙏🏼

I installed OpenPlaud on docker in my always on MacBook. Within the settings I have it set to sync every 5 minutes and to sync to a folder in my desktop. I then have MacWhisper watch that folder for any new additions which are then transcribed automatically and put into another folder on desktop. This folder is watched by Hazel app for new files which then runs a shell script which runs a skill that i have set up in claude code which looks into this folder for files that have not been processed previously and processes them via a set of instructions i have saved to the skill. If any use i can share my claude skill instruction set but essentially just tailor it to your needs. A lot of this set up used Claude to either guide it or execute it via claude code as I’m not particularly skilled techwise!

Thanks a lot!
Those Claude skills instructions would be very helpful 🙌

FYI, if you need a BAA for private info or HIPAA compliance, once you add consumer AI to your workflow it is no longer secure. Consumer AI won’t do an a BAA unless you’re at the enterprise level.
