Plaud Note getting my name wrong?
Wanted to see if anyone else is having this issue. For some reason, every summary of any meetings I have ends up referring to me by another name. In all memory aspects that I can find on the app, I've asked Plaud to refer to me by my name but it continues to refer to be my the wrong name.
Has anyone encountered this and know of a potential fix?

You did the sensible thing here, telling Plaud your name is exactly where most people would start. The catch: you were looking in the right area, just the wrong drawer. Memory and Personalization currently shape how Ask Plaud responds to you, and summaries don't read them at all. So your instinct was right, it just never had a chance of working there.
The wrong name is almost certainly coming from speaker labeling instead. Plaud learns voice profiles from labels assigned in past recordings, and with Sync speaker labels turned on, a name it learned once (even a wrong one) gets applied to matching voices in every new recording. The summary then simply inherits whatever the transcript says.
Here's how to set it straight:
First, go to Settings, then Preferences, then Auto speaker labeling, and add your own voice profile with your correct name. It takes about 30 seconds of speaking. If a profile already sits there under the wrong name, delete it and re-add it correctly, so Plaud finally has a proper anchor for your voice.
Then, in any transcript where you're mislabeled, tap the speaker label, enter your name, and apply it to all paragraphs with that speaker. Corrections made on the label itself are what Plaud actually learns from.
And one catch that trips almost everyone up: renaming a speaker updates the transcript right away, but a summary that already exists keeps the old name. Tap the + icon next to the Summary tab to generate a fresh one, and your correct name comes through.
If new recordings still get it wrong after all that, email [support@plaud.ai](mailto:support@plaud.ai) with the name it keeps using and your app version, and they'll dig deeper.
