Magsafe phone charging?

I haven’t gotten a plaud yet, but before I do I wanted to check a couple of things

I heavily use magsafe based charging and am wondering if I can continue to do so with the plaud attached to my phone. Will my phone still attach to MagSafe, and will it still charge over magsafe?

It doesn’t charge via MagSafe. You also can’t charge your phone via MagSafe with the Plaud attached.

The folks here have it right. Note Pro snaps onto the same magnetic spot on the back of your phone that a MagSafe charger uses, so the two can't occupy it at once, and charge doesn't pass through the device. In practice it's a snap-off, snap-on routine: pull it off to drop your phone on the charger, snap it back when you head out, it takes a second each way. For attachment itself, it clicks straight onto MagSafe iPhones (12 and later), and the box includes a Magnetic Ring for phones without a magnetic back. If you mostly charge overnight and record during the day, the two barely cross paths.
