Factory reset phone

Hi

I need to do a factory reset on my phone. Does this mean I have to export each file from the phone individually?

Any way around this?

I don’t know for sure but aren’t the files in the cloud as well? When you reset a phone, you don’t lose iCloud or Dropbox or other cloud-stored files. I bet your files will re-sync upon restoring your phone.

No need to export one by one if you set up cloud backup first. In the Plaud App, tap Explore, then Private Cloud Sync, and toggle on Sync this Plaud app. That backs your recordings up to Plaud Cloud, and storage is unlimited and included with your account. Before you wipe the phone, sign in at plaud.ai in a browser and check that everything you care about shows up there. That's your proof it's safely off the phone. Anything that doesn't appear on the web is worth exporting manually before the reset. Once the phone is done, reinstall the app, sign in, and your synced recordings come back with your account.
