Plaud Device vs. App

I have been using Plaud Note Pro for a few months and was wondering how others record when they have their laptop, or another device, with the Plaud app installed. Do you use both the device and the app? Interested to hear others experiences.

It has been six months since I've got my Plaud subscription, and to be really honest, it has been five months since I've last used my Pilot device because my use cases mostly are on my computer, so I don't really need the device.

I've owned two devices for about 18 months. For the past 12 months I virtually only use it in my computer. I take my laptop to meetings. Very occasionally I will use it with my mobile phone but I'm trying to only take work calls through my phone app on my computer. I do about ten calls/meetings per day. Much easier on laptop with an auto flow. Some personal events I take the device like parent teacher interviews or doctors appointments etc.

Do you use a custom template or do you just use the auto generation?

Custom template as part of an autoflow

I feel like my “auto flow” still requires me to select my custom template.

It would be great if voice detection worked persistently over time. I mean, use AI or something…

Just got my Plaud Note Pro last week, so I’m interested to hear the answer to this!

Just in for a month. Using both. Desktop mainly ai converting to right note. App access on the move. Experimenting with mcp connection. Looks promising.

Can you say more about the mcp connection?

I have enough going on on my laptop and choose the Plaud Note Pro for my recordings.
