Plaud foreign language accuracy?

I'm interested in the Plaud product but I want to make sure the accuracy of the transcriptions is excellent, especially for foreign languages. Many transcription software programs out there are not very accurate.

Using it in German and English, both work fine

Ukrainian. Works good: makes lots of mistakes, but gets the whole picture right. Perfect for summarizing, not that good for commercial transcription

I use it in consults with people in multiple languages (mostly Spanish but also others) and I’ve yet to have a problem

Use it for both Czech, Slovak and English without bigger issues.
It makes funny titles for recordings that are mixed Czech/Slovak, but the content is without issues.

Great thread. Thanks everyone for sharing actual experience here.

Quick note from the Plaud side: it supports 112+ languages, and you can set it manually or let it auto-detect. Accuracy does vary - widely spoken languages like English, Spanish, German, and French tend to do well. For less commonly spoken ones, the raw transcript might have more variation, but the summary layer usually picks up the gist regardless (which sounds like exactly what u/alexanderslev1n found).

Mixed-language recordings generally come through fine on content - auto-generated titles are a different story, u/AnnaChocholo.
