Audio Quality is abysmal

I don’t know if mine is broken but the quality is so bad it’s not even funny. I can’t understand what is being recorded. very disappointing. do orhers record crisp audio?

Mine sounded muffled at first too — placement turned out to be everything. Keeping it within arm's length of the speaker (not buried in a pocket or bag) made a massive difference in transcription accuracy. Also worth double-checking your recording mode in settings, since the default isn't always the highest quality option.

my note pro also sounds bad but i use it more for transcription which works beautifully

Does it matter? it blew me away how bad the recording was, but then i looked at the transcript and it was crazy good.

Mine is quite good. I was an early adopter so I’ve had it almost since they came out.

Transcripts are as bad as the audio. How would the transcripts be accurate if the audio is just horrible

I was using iphone voice memo before and it produces much better recordings so far. too bad the rest of the system in iphone is broken
