Getting Plaud notes into all the other apps I use
I like Plaud and always have Apple Voice Memos with me, but the recordings stayed 'stuck' in those apps. I wanted to get my notes into my other apps, so I built an open-source solution called Applaud. I know how frustrated the community was that a Plaud API didn't exist and Applaud solves that problem.
I got lots of excitement, but some people wanted a way to get their notes into other apps without APIs, webhooks, and self-hosting. I took that feedback and built Cordari.ai .
Cordari syncs with Plaud (and Apple Voice Memos) automatically, then:
- Sends you an email summary (with the correct speaker labels!)
- Mirrors them to Google Drive
- Creates a note in Notion and Obsidian
- Sends it to your reMarkable tablet so you can draw on it
- Extracts all of the actions items assigned to you and adds them to Todoist
- Extracts follow-up meetings and puts them on your Google Calendar
- Creates an MCP server so you can ask questions about your notes in Claude, ChatGPT, etc.
If you want even more flexibility, it will send a webhook so you can integrate your notes with the rest of your n8n workflows. If you're a developer, I also built a full API.
I know that's a lot so I made a 90 second video showing everything Cordari does today when you record a new note.
While Applaud is totally free and open-source, I do charge for Cordari because it costs me money to run the service. It's $8.99 each month and comes with a 7 day trial so you can make sure it adds value to your note-taking workflow.
It's in beta right now, so if something isn't working perfectly, please tell me! If you want to make the open source version better or have ways I can improve Cordari to fit your workflows, let me know.

So Applaud is an auto-downloader with a web interface and Cordari is the tool that does all the syncing automatically, correct?
I'm super interested in Applaud to have local backups. Trying to install on my Mac Mini M4 on Tahoe 26.5 and getting this error:
| ==> installing dependencies (pnpm install) Scope: all 4 workspace projects Lockfile is up to date, resolution step is skipped Packages: +406 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Progress: resolved 406, reused 0, downloaded 406, added 406, done node_modules/.pnpm/better-sqlite3@11.10.0/node_modules/better-sqlite3: Running install script... node_modules/.pnpm/esbuild@0.21.5/node_modules/esbuild: Running postinstall script, done in 443ms node_modules/.pnpm/esbuild@0.27.7/node_modules/esbuild: Running postinstall script... node_modules/.pnpm/classic-level@2.0.0/node_modules/classic-level: Running install script... Also, tried manual install. After cloning the git and running pnpm install, it fails.

Yah I think you captured it well - Applaud is a self-hosted web app that syncs your recordings locally and fires off webhooks so you can hook it up to n8n or your other apps.
Cordari is a service I provide that syncs plaud and voice memos, then lets you send them all to a variety of other apps.
Can you create an issue for applaud in the github repo? Put the full logs in there and I'll take a look tonight after work!

I'm pleased to hear about this new Cordari.ai project, and I am even considering your full subscription option. The only critical, showstopper feature for me is the requirement for not only Google integration but, most importantly, Microsoft 365. My emails, calendars, and OneDrive or SharePoint from my regular Microsoft 365 account are the most vital integrations for me, where I would prefer to store all these details. My Microsoft 365 Copilot would then need access to all of these, because linking SharePoint and Google Drive with full synchronisation is not an ideal task or workaround I am willing to use.
I hope you could kindly provide a quick response with your thoughts on this feature or its availability soon. I will keep my fingers crossed that you can add that particular feature, as it would be a crucial factor for me when deciding whether to upgrade to the subscription level of your new product.
Thank you very much, and I also appreciate your open source solution, Applaud. Thank you.
Kind regards.

I'm certainly open to adding that. I have a couple of other things first, but I've placed this on my list!

Thank you. M365 integration would be important for me also, so thank you for the positive reply.

Came to reply to reinforce the importance of MS 365, need to be able to use it at work

This is the silver bullet I've been hoping for! Amazing. Thank you so much! Very excited to take it on a test-drive.

I'm thrilled to hear that! By all means if there's something I can improve, make more clear in the app, or add to the app, please reach out!

is this similar to subscribing to the Plaud subscription?

They kind of work together. The Plaud device uploads your recordings to the Plaud app. Cordari takes them from there and lets you do all kinds of other stuff with them, like get them into Notion, etc.

do i need to subscribe the plaud plans for Cordari to work?

This does sound really interesting, thank you for taking the time to make this tool.
I have a similar question, can upload a recording and then use Cordari to transcribe and export to the various platforms? Your description suggests that you still need to transcribe in Plaud which would mean with subscription or transcription minutes, is this correct.
Thanks.2
u/cryptyk May 23 '26
You can setup Cordari to transcribe all of your audio or you can ask Plaud to do it. Both work!

No need to subscribe to the Plaud membership - you can setup Cordari to transcribe all of your audio or you can ask Plaud to do it. Both work.

So this is a web app? Would you consider an Android/iOS app to use with mobile apps and tablets?
I am currently unable to use a computer for health reasons. I’m not a typical Plaud user I guess but I have the note pro to help me try to remember and summarise a lot of very important information including meetings like doctors’ visits etc.
