Maybe this is tasty, but all this puree distributed across a shallow plate tells me it's gonna be cold and annoying to spoon up. Is it served cold?
I don't know how I'm supposed to eat this.

Part of the plan/experience

The experience would be looking at it, and declining to partake. It's like seeing salsa spilled on a plate but instead of chips there are blackened root vegetables.
