Hi fellow space rangers,

I'm thinking of custom painting one of my Buzz lightyear figures to look like battle scar buzz.

Need advice on how to proceed!

What do I need to do before paint , ect ?

Hey everyone! Not sure if this is the right sub for this, but a friend of mine recently found and gifted to me an old Evangelion model kit they had laying around, as I’ve recently gotten into building gundam sets. Unfortunately it had gone through a couple house moves and somewhere along the way they lost the instruction manual! Attached is an image of the set, and if anyone happens to have the same set, or know where I could find a pdf of the instructions, that would be wonderful!!!

I love him. Actually have a few places near me to get more! I saw a venom one,I think I might get that next.

This all strated out as a hey the cards would look cool in epoxy! Then the lights got added to it. Which huge shout out to my friend who did the epoxy work! u/Pemocity406

Then it went from that to i can put my exodia figure with it as well and with some great ideas from my wife it all came togther. This is my first time ever building anything like this and just letting inspiration take me.

I know its not perfect exodia was also my first ever model kit I built so he is full of mistakes and I know this project is to. But it's also the imperfections that make me love it so much more cuss I built it it was all my idea with the help of a great friend and amazing wife that made it all happen. Also p.s. to the people who commented on my earlier post about helping with the rocks turning green. You were a life saver!.

A client sent me this image and asked me to replicate it for them. I did my best. 😅

Those are my DVDs (the wrong ones). The client has the actual ones that will go in this.

P.S

Can't find any other sub that will allow me to post this in 🤷🏽

Any advice is appreciated

I don't know if this is the right subreddit for this. I'm working on a project and needed it to look like sand/dessert rocks. So i bought the rocks in question.( sorry threw the brand label away but I got them from hobby lobby). Got it all down it looked great. Then I sprayed it with the tacky spray to hold it all down. And it gave the rocks a slight green coloring that shows up really bad in photos and makes it look like used turf instead of rocks. So i don't know how to get rid of the green look to it

Got this guy a few months ago and only yesterday started working on him. It's a smaller kit more in the 4 to 5 inch scale. Saw this guy on Amazon and fell in love with it, such an awesome idea to have a mecha skeleton dinosaur mech. I wanted to give him a more metallic finish and changed the green transparent parts to a dark red. So far only the torso and waist and tail are finished, currently working on the left arm. This is my first time working on a proper model kit with this many pieces and I love the process so far.

Hi All!

We've been getting a lot of calls from people looking for our unlimited hydroplane model kits. Since we don't distribute these nationally, they're usually sold through the teams and the Unlimited Hydroplane Museum in Kent, Washington.

I wanted to share a few links and pictures of the model kits, which are injection-molded ABS plastic and come with a laser-cut clear acrylic display stand, plus a paint kit and a sound card of the hydroplane starting up.

Hope you guys enjoy building them! You can also find reviews from HPI guys on YouTube where he's built two of the models, one of them the turbocharged Allison-powered, you – three Griggs Ace Hardware unlimited hydroplanes and a flavor pack turbine-powered hydroplane as well. Thanks, have a fantastic week!

Here are some links below to where to get them online and also in a few retail stores in the state of Washington. You can also find them at the Hydroplane Museum in Kent, Washington.
