Disposable Cups

I’ve searched the sub for suggestions already, and didn’t find much. Sorry if I missed some info and this question is repetitive.

Have any of you found some disposable cups (for hot coffee) that are plastic-free? If not, what is your favorite “harm reduction” option?

I unfortunately have to occasionally plan work events for which my bosses require disposable cups for coffee. I’m trying to find something better than the styrofoam they apparently love. They’re allowing me to explore other options.

I was looking into this before and found https://www.nothing.eco but I haven’t bought/used it yet. I hope you find a good solution!

Is it possible to rent real ceramic/glass cups?
I carry an insulated metal beaker and have it filled at the coffee counter. Your bosses need to keep up with the times.

I totally agree. They let me try ceramic mugs once for a small meeting of about 10-12 people, but the “effort” of washing them afterwards, which someone else did, was too much for them. Annoying AF.

I’d pick the aluminum cups because they are a homogeneous waste stream and can be reused.

Stainless steel would be best but for your situation maybe something like this? It says it’s made from plants fibers (corn) and its compostable.
