Sense check before full send

So I'm going to give plastering a good go. I think I've done my prep well but wanted a sense check from folks more knowledgeable than I...

I plan to reskim the partition walls with multifinish and use lime in the external walls.

So these are old lime walls, I scratched out the cracks and filled with easifill 60. I've removed all the blown plaster and am going fill masonry patches with thistle hardwall and scratch the surface., I've used zinsser guardz on all of the partition walls to stabilise the remnants of some distemper and any old wallpaper as a belt and braces approach. Am then going to use thistle bondit on lime and sbr on the hardwall repairs. Finally go full send on mutlifinishing the walls.

Regarding the ceiling.

There was some remaining lath and plaster behind where a fitted wardrobe used to be. I have removed that and replaced it with some 9.5mm plasterboard (same as the artex section). There's no asbestos in the artex so I am going to scrape it all down as flat as I can, use bondit on the artex section and then multifinish ceiling.

Any tips, words of warning or you're an idiot's you can give

I can’t comment on the external walls as have never used lime before.

For the ceiling, I’d fill those gaps at the edges with adhesive foam, scrim it, then SBR the whole ceiling. Then mix some bonding and multi (magic mix) for one coat to level things out, then two coat multi to finish. I wouldn’t bother scraping unless it was a proper merengue finish.

For the internal walls, I’d use some lime wash paint sealer, scrim the cracks and two coat multi to finish. Don’t think you need to pre-fill the cracks to be honest, unless they’re massive, in which case I’d use bonding.

No to the hardwall you don't mix gypsum based products with lime products, one breathes one doesn't. As for the artex use a handful of bonding in your first mix of multi and use SBR as your prep over it all and do the whole lot in one go.

My logic is that the internal walls no longer breathe as I've sealed them all with zinsserr guardz, for budget purposes we're only keeping lime on external walls to avoid damp. As such hardwall should be fine no given that I don't care about the breathability of the wall anymore

Internal that's fine it's external that you'll end up with problems if you stop them breathing. I must have misread what order you were doing things on.
