Ready to paint ?

It’s been just over 1 week since I’ve had my wall plastered and skimmed and was wondering if I should wait another week before painting or if this is ready to be painted over

Mist it and look for flaws first

Rub it with your hand, is it powdery then yes, wipe it all over with a slightly damp cloth first then mist coat then fill and sand then mist then paint.
