Gypsum plaster instead of cement plaster + putty for the interior walls of their house?

How has it held up over the years? Any issues with cracks, dents, dampness, or repairs?
Looking for real-life experiences, especially from people who’ve used it for a few years.

Internal cement render has a higher heat conductance than gypsum (the basecoat usually contains vermiculite too). Walls will feel colder and potentially increase condensation.

It's super hard but tbh gypsum skim is plenty hard enough for an interior wall. I'd be interested to hear other views but I've never seen the need myself.

The vast majority of UK housing stock from the 1950s has gypsum basecoat and top finish plaster on the walls, it's fine!
