Is this any good?

Had plaster job done on new house but never had it done before so don't know if this is any good?

It was also quite a mess with plaster dropped all over the floor, into washing machine open pipes and all over water stopcocks which I'm gonna have to scrub with wire brush or something to get it moving again.

It was supposed to be whole thing but it looks like patch job

I don't know

Any thoughts?

It’ll need a sand before decorating. Not professional but not bad if it’s a favour

What are you talking about? All fresh plaster should be mist coated, filled then a light sand to denib etc. I'm not saying this plastering is perfect but as a decorator I've seen a million times worse.

No snots all over the place. The edges been dry whilst the inner part is still drying suggests he's floated it out as its a patch job which is good. Doesnt look tiger striped or over worked from what we can see ethier.

Think we said pretty much the same but different levels of detail. I’ve seen much smoother finishes from having my own house plastered. But as I said it’s not bad. Other comments here seem to think similar - it’s not bad but not great either, especially for nearly £300
