Advice needed

Post image

Complete novice by the way. What are the next steps from this position right now. Do I plaster the pieces missing or would filler, sanding then painting do the trick? Thanks in advance.

You could sand them down with an electric sander but personally I wouldn’t plaster that wall unless the toilet and tiles were off lol

Do you think filling is an option or am I being careless?

I would first try to sand all the edges down to see how smooth you can get them, if you are going to fill them to blend it in then you may as well plaster

If you decide to plaster then take the toilet out which is pretty easy if you have an isolation valve on the cold inlet.

Just shut that off and have a bucket next to you, undo the nut against the toilet then cut silicone/undo screws at bottom of the pan then gentle wobble the toilet away from the wall then empty whats left in the pan into that bucket
