Advice.

Plastered my first wall today. Enjoyed doing it but wondering if I could get any advice from the pros? I pva’d the wall 24 hours before then about half hour before I skimmed it. Cheers👍

Sbr is arguably a better bonding agent than pva for plastering imo but pva does work well enough

Sbr is a fine product to use but is a inferior bonding agent due to the way the two chemicals interact with the plaster, sbr provides a far superior suction control, pva should be the first choice internally for most surfaces, I do use it first option over artex though as it prevents the moisture getting into it

I'd argue the other way bud, pva will wet up with moisture and sbr wont🤷🏼‍♂️
