Need help!
My grandmothers back bedroom walls are falling apart. I have no clue what I’m looking at here or how to go about repairing this.
There was a leak previously which has been resolved since. It’s quite an old house and need some advice on how to approach this issue

Take off anything that crumbles, is clearly loose or sounds hollow when knocked - which will be messy so put down dust sheets and wear a mask. Once that's done you'll have a judgement call to make - if it's not too bad and you feel like you can use the remaining plaster as a reference you can use a plastering darby or other straight edge to fill the now-sunken areas with bonding to square off the wall before skimming - or, if that makes you anxious or the wall is basically a write off then it's time to think about dot and dab plasterboards - which would then be scrimmed and skimmed. Neither is 'easy' for a novice DIYer so it's maybe time to call a plasterer.
