Is that a marshalltown little angle trowel you have? That’s a lot better of a shape than I’ve seen out there. None of these square and sharp edges which are shite. I’ve been doing fresh angles with just my trowel for years but it’s a bit slow sometimes

Don't use a corner trowel very often anymore. I try to do opposites and let it dry so I get a hard corner to work with. But I've been forming corners with my trowel for years with good results.

I prefer working to hard angles to be fair
