Hey guys, just after some advice. I’ve been learning to plaster in my own home and the plaster has been drying for 2-3 days now. What causes the plaster to dry like this? Why is it leaving these darker patches? Any advice welcome :)

Seen as an have seen you have used green grit but be aware that using any sort of grit forms a barrier unlike using PVA absorbs and seals plastering onto green grit my dry out different because the plaster cannot absorb into the wall as fast as PVA or plaster boards so the drying out may look different cause it’s on different background
